Compact Digital Solid State Soft Start Controller
The smallest and easiest to use CSXi series sets
up with simple pot adjustments. It has one of the smallest foot
prints available and includes a built-in bypass contactor, which
allows smaller, non-ventilated enclosures, making it ideal for MCC
applications.
Control Techniques offers a complete
range of low voltage AC motor soft starters such as our
pre-engineered crusher duty EMX3-4-1 soft starter packages suitable
for both normal and heavy duty applications, plus packaged models
such as our “Crusher-Duty” soft starters. Most of our soft starters
feature a universal voltage input which can accommodate 200-600 VAC
3 phase input supply" or "Our soft starters feature a universal
voltage input which can accommodate 200-600VAC, 200-400VAC and
380-690VAC 3-phase input supply. Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet and
RS485 options are available.

Pump Application Interface
The Pump Application Interface expands the soft starter's input
and output functionality and is ideal for applications where
greater control and feedback are required. The interface provides
three digital inputs and one PT100 sensing input, which can monitor
system conditions and trip the soft starter is an unwanted
condition occurs.
CSXi - Compact Digital Soft Starter with Motor Protection
CSXi includes all the functionality of the CSX, with the
addition of motor protection and current limit/current ramp
starting modes. The CSXi is a closed loop controller (constant
current or current ramp) that reduces the electrical and mechanical
strain on the motor and the load, providing soft starts and soft
stops for squirrel-cage AC induction motors. CSXi is ideal for high
inertia loads, or loads where the starting load torque requirements
do not change. Modbus, Profibus and DeviceNet fieldbus
communication modules can be easily snapped on to the side of the
CSXi module.
